Yvonne Espinoza, CEP, is a nationally recognized and highly respected College Counselor and CEO based in Austin, TX, with an exceptional track record of guiding thousands of students to successful college matriculation. With over 23 years of experience in education and college counseling, Yvonne’s expertise and dedication have made her one of the most sought-after professionals in her field. Yvonne spent 19 years as a full-time college counselor in public Title I and Alternative high schools in Austin, where she worked tirelessly to support students in their pursuit of higher education. She also served 3 years as an Outside Admissions Reader for the University of San Francisco, gaining valuable insight into the college admissions process from the university’s perspective. For the past 12 years, she has been the sole founder and owner of Yvonne Espinoza College Counseling Services, a thriving practice known for its compassionate, student-centered approach, ethical standards, and client satisfaction. Yvonne’s commitment to college access and student success has been widely recognized at both the local and national levels. She has been inducted into the City of Austin Women’s Hall of Fame, received the prestigious Inclusion, Access and Success Award from the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and was honored with the Counselors That Change Lives Award from the Colleges That Change Lives organization. These accolades reflect her deep care for college access as well as her college counseling expertise. Beyond her work with students, Yvonne is dedicated to advancing the college counseling profession through mentorship, professional development, and national leadership. She was elected to and currently serves at a national level on the Common App Advisory Board, Women in Admission Board of Directors Co-Chair, and Colleges That Change Lives Board of Directors. Yvonne currently resides in Southwest Austin with her husband of 15 years and 5 very spoiled dogs.
